Thought of something else. If you believe the window is off your screen, you
can edit the coordinates of the window in the INI file.
Open WL. At the opening screen, under Settings, select Edit.
When the "Copy WriteLog Settings to INI" window appears, navigate to a location
where you want to save your INI file like "My Documents", and type in a
filename. I usually use my call+date like aa5au230302.ini, then hit the Save
button.
A copy of your settings will now appear in Notepad (or the text editor you have
set). Scroll to the [Packet] entries that may look something like this.
[Packet]Telnet=dxc.nc7j.comTelnetPort=7373Telnet1=173.255.227.205TelnetPort1=23X=164Y=473W=603H=220PORT=-3SingleOp=0
From here you can change the settings of X and Y coordinates to move the window
to somewhere other than where it appeared previously.
Once finished, Save the file and close it. When you close it, you will be asked
if you want to load edited settings. Press Yes. Now open a contest or create a
new one and open the Packet window and see if you can see it.
You might try using the settings that I show above to see if that works.

Not sure this will help, if you are running Win 10 or 11, put it in Task
View. This should put all your windows on the screen and you can look for the
Packet window and see if you can get it on the screen from there.
To put the PC in task view click the Task View button on the task bar. If you
don't have a Task View button, right click anywhere open on the task bar and
select "Show Task View Button". Or you can bring up Task View with Windows
key+Tab.
Once in Task View, you can right click on the window and there are some options
that may or may not help.
Let us know if this helps.

The packet terminal window doesn't appear on the screen, only in the task
icon.
What should I do?
