I've never used TR and don't recall ever hearing about such a function in
WL. Personally, that "feature" would drive me nuts! Having the program
send W1A when all that was left to type was the final W wouldn't be to bad,
but if it were W1AW/YV1 or some other such appendage I would be sweating out
typing fast enough to keep ahead of the programs sending speed. Sooner or
later I'd choke and mistype something that would then be promptly sent.
Wouldn't it be easier to just click on a call in the Rittywrite window and
then hit Insert to send the call and exchange? I haven't been at this CW
contesting thing for too long, but the simpler the better.
By the way, if you think propagation sucks in MN you should try AK sometime!
I could write the sequel to "War and Peace" waiting for either 40 or 80 to
come alive!
