FWIW, MMTTY ver 165B is not the latest, although I doubt that is the
problem. 1.65D is available.
I'm using Writelog 10.54C with MMTTY 1.65D and WinXP Home SP2 with no problems.
What are your settings in each of the RittyRite menu options?
