I didn't realize you could do that in CT. Guess thats what I get for not
using it very often; like only when I go operate from someone elses' place.

That is not true. In CT, use CTRL-RIGHTARROW to go to the Announce
windows. Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the spot you wish to
delete. Press the DEL key and the spot is gone.
