Try uninstalling everything... reboot your machine and then do a full
install on 10.62h
I did that on a 2000 Pro SP4 Machine and it worked

Doug,
Thanks for the input.
I still have no joy installing on my 2000PRO SP4 machine. The full
download did not do it. I have the current installer. My registration
is up to date. The installer comes up, takes the registration, starts,
then gives a message:
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program
required
for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support
personnel or package vendor."
I am told that the problem is being worked on. Do you have any further
ideas?
P.S. I don't think that I have ever had an MSI install before. No that
I recall. My last full install was 10.56C, but I am told that that was
not necessarily an MSI install.

Doug,
If you find out, please let me know. I am in this situation also.

Hi Jim,
I'm running XP, Service Pack 2.
Ron first suggested I download the v3.1 MSI installer. I did so. No joy.
Ron next suggested I download the FULL version of 10.62h. This did the
trick, but not sure if it was the new installer, the full version or
both. Another issue was that my license had expired, but I did not get
the usual notification when attempting to upgrade. I did get the
notification after the FULL download and attempted install.
Looks like the bottom line is that upgrades from now on will be MSI. It
works fine once everything is in place. I just checked the WL download
site and only the MSI version is listed. I think there are some further
issues for those running 95, 98 and 2000. I tried unsuccessfully to do
a full install on a 98SE machine I was playing around with. Tried all
the name changing ideas that have been expressed. I gave up. Don't
care. I had success installing on a machine running 2000 with MSI
installer.
This has caused a lot of flack on the reflector and I think it might
have been avoided if Ron or Wayne had notified everyone via the
reflector of the issues that might be encountered and some procedural
guidance.
