[WriteLog] Upgrade to windows 7 any things to avoid?

I have been using writelog for a number of years but to avoid Operating system 
upgrade hassels I have stayed with windows 98. The old system is starting to 
crash at least once in every contest sometimes more. 

I have deiced to upgrade the Hardware and go to windows 7. Any advice on going 
to windows 7 would be appreicated.
