I downloaded V10.69 (full) in December to run on a new pc --
one w/o a serial port. I installed a USB-Serial adapter,
but never was able to get Writelog to communicate with the
rig, an FT-1000/D. I tried several times, but finally gave
up and reverted to my old pc with a "real" COM port and my
older version or WriteLog.
I uninstalled WriteLog V10.69 and the driver for the
USB-Serial adapter and let my new pc sit for a couple of
months.
Today I re-installed the USB-Serial adapter driver (it looks
good) and tried to do a clean install of V10.69 from the
original download from K5DJ. It unzipped OK, but would not
accept the registration key I was given in December, which
had previously worked OK. I received the following message:
"The registration key you have entered is either expired or
invalid."
What's wrong, and how do I fix it?
Thanks,
Art/W4AA
