I think they are finally pricing themselves out of this market. The add is
terribly misleading. Replace a multimode TNC, gimme a break. it does NOT do
Pactor or any of the ONLY things you need a TNC for. Don't throw away your
PK232 if you buy this.
It is already on the edge with the standard and MFJ is going to swamp them
with its price point. They are getting greedy and taking advantage of new
users with less knowledge of the truth that all it takes to run the digital
modes is a few cables and maybe a transformer, 3000 BUCKS, gimme another
break.
