There are many time-of-day applications available. I use SmartClock v1.3,
available at http://home.worldonline.cz/~cz057881/en/.
I use the following settings:
-- General parameters:
.. display seconds
.. always on top
.. restart on Windows startup
.. right alignment
.. do not hide
.. do not use "true transparency"
-- Digital parameters
.. Verdana font, 8 pt
.. text in yellow
.. no outline (control to the left)
.. no shadow
Then I position the digital clock in the blue bar at the top of the QSO
Entry form, right where I can see it ticking away during
the contest.
The only drawback with this fine utility is that one must switch the
computer to GMT during the contest; SmartClock always shows
the time zone that the computer is set to at the moment.
