I tried to order, from HRO Atlanta, a new control box for my G1000DXA rotator
as both my towers got hit by lightning and destroyed the control boxes. They
say that Yaesu has informed them that the DXA series has ben discontinued and
they have none on hand to sell. Bummer. Now I have two rotors at 110 feet
with no way to rotate them. Anyone have one or two control boxes they want to
sell? The rotators themselves seem to be OK as I can apply 12 volts to the two
leads and turn them. Reversing the polarity turns them the other way. But,
can't tell which way the antennas are pointed without going outside and looking
up. This is the DXA, NOT the SDX. The connecters are different on the rotator
and control box between the two.
