ALPS has not been able to supply a director or functional replacement for
the ft-1000mp clarifier rotary encoder, they claim their part EC16B241040PA
has been discontinued. This was also apparently used in at least the mk-v
field and I would suspect other radios around that time period. Does anyone
know of a functional equivalent for that encoder or another source for a
replacement??
