[Yaesu] Help 1000MP and Titan amp

Wondering if anyone is using 1000MP with Tentec Titan amp? If so I'm getting 2 
stories on how to connect it.

1. use 3 wires as per Titan manual

2. Use the band data plug on the 10000MP. This is better and even Tentec know 
recommends it.

Is anyone using the band data plug to a Titan and if so what connections did 
you make?  I believe pins 23 and 8 are used but not sure.

Also, is the linear relay switch on 1000MP off or on?

Any help appreciated.
