[Yaesu] FT-450 tuner

The ATU-450 internal tuner has 2 cables that plug into the rear of the 
board.
If I want to remove the tuner, do I just unplug it there or do I need to 
put some kind of jumper between those 2 plugs?
Looking at the installation instructions, it doesn't show any kind of 
jumper in there.  Thanks and 73
