The FT-990 didn't appear until several years AFTER the FT-1000. You might
be able to buy a replacement board for mounting your filter from Yaesu in
California. There is also an after-market filter company in Florida that
might sell you the board.

Thanks much for all the info I received in response to the post. Yes, it
seems that Yaesu originally sold the core filter XF-110C for the FT-990 and
then mounted it on a pc board for the FT-1000 without changing the part
number.
If anyone has an old ceramic filter that they pulled out of the FT-1000, I'd
be interested to use its board for mounting the XF-110C.
