The burn in procedure is for new old stock Eimac's that have been noted to have seal leakage around the pins. It has been noted that this is not useful as the plate must be hot (red hot) to activate

That was a stupid design. Did the blower use two windings or two caps to change the speed or just a resistor? In the resistor type just shorting out the resistor would provide the same functionality

You should really see 0uA. Run it through its range and stop on the positions that have leakage. Drop it to 4 KV and let it cook. You might be able to effect a repair if it is gas as the arc will get
