MLA2500 puts out what sounds like a T8 signal (AC) in the CW position, but sounds okay in the SSB position. Any theories? Also regularly pops the 1/2 watt resisitor at the base of the RF choke. Tom,

I have an Ameritron AL1200. The parasitc suppressor flashed a number of times, only on 20 meters, and finally burned up. I replaced the resistor with two 120 ohm 2 watt carbon resistors in parallel.
