I like Colin's idea of mounting the caps vertically and using right angle couplers. That would solve the problems for the caps but not for the roller inductor. Sprockets and a chain would work for it

Since I don't use long wires or twin lead feed lines, I don't have any problems with RF in the shack. I think that what I'll do is put an .01 cap across the control connections and see how that works
