Speaking of the AL-82 and the 10 meter mod.... Does anyone have a chart showing what ranges the various bands will cover? I am in MARS and we have some frequency's that are almost in between ham band

Hi, Having owned an SB-220, and an AL-82, I would take the 82 any day... Here is why: Good Points: 1. Solid as a rock 2. Full output on all bands, RTTY contesting 3. Will do 10 Meters 4. Easy to tune

Carl, Thank you for the information, I run the amp at 1000 W for any 100% duty cycle mode, and 1500 for CW/SSB, if in a contest. If normal operation, I run the amp at 500 W for 100% duty cycle modes,

Just got it, and am loving it... Works very well with the K3, and a LOT quieter than the old AL-82 was. Love the autotune, and love the follow the amp does based on the bands selected on the K3... --
