- Simply short-out all the windings on one leg, probably one of the outside legs to keep the flux path shorter. Then the two legs left will get all the flux and behave like a single-phase transformer.

- all three legs. That's precisely why the 3rd leg should have its windings shorted - to keep the flux out of that leg. phase rating. I doubt core saturation is an issue unless someone is passing DC t

- If you short the center leg's windings, the flux will have a longer path, thus more loss. There will be perfect balance because all three core's coils have precisely the same number of turns. Also ge

- While experimenting, excite the windings with a low voltage, like 6.3 VAC from a small filament transformer. Then if you have a winding reversed, instead of blowing a breaker, you will only see a sma

- Werlatone model C10568 fits your requirements; 30 dB coupling, flat (+/- 0.5 dB) over 1.5 through 32 MHz, 1500 Watts CW, and a directivity of 25 dB. You won't like the price, but this model shows tha
