Steve, I just went through the same process. While the AL-1200 and 1500 are good amps, the entry price is a bit too steep. Have you looked at the AL-82? After much consideration, I went with the AL-8

Hello Group. Short question: I have an AL-82 that has started to blow a fuse on start-up. It doesn't do it every time, and when the fuse is replaced the unit starts OK and runs all day w/o problems.
