I would argue that software should really come under Copyright Law as it is not something which can be developed into a physical object. But I do agree that many patent submissions are pretty stupid

I have only used the polyester film for PCB layouts - from my experience the toner fuses into the polyester very effectively. I think the chance of the toner lifting is very low. BTW the trade name
