- I'm sure it's like the FT1000(?) someone mentioned earlier - the power control lowers the reference input to the alc system without reducing the base level of the tx strip gain. That's a boo-boo.....

- A place I use returns test gear from cal this way - cardboard box, foam in the bottom, then a sheet of plastic and bed the equipment into it. More plastic over the equipment and more foam so it's up
