- Thanks Bryan, I know what it's like with the battery usage on the 43P, that's why I'd like to modify mine so I can use it with a 12v psu. I'm not sure there's much I can gain by changing to a device

- Hi again, many thanks for all the replies. It looks like i'll try it and see how it goes. Cooling is an issues i'd thought about after having one toroid fail on my earlier, extra cooling does help. M
