- I have an SB-200 that putting out less than expect power on 80M. Tuning was done in accordance to Heathkit's instructions....basically for maximum smoke and reduce the drive a bit if the grid current

- I tried the tuning up and the bottom and the top end of the band. The amp puts out 150 more watts when loaded up at the top end of the band verses the bottom. Ian - K8MM _____________________________

- Houses are typically feed off of a center tapped secondary. 240V measured between phase conductors and 120V between either phase conductor and the center tap. There isn't any sort of dangerous short

- There isn't anything ILLEGAL about connecting the neutral and ground anywhere else beside the main panel. You're violating the NEC but not committing a criminal offense. ;-) K8MM ____________________
