Hi John They are not available at DX Engineering at this time. Maybe again in the future 73 Tim K3LR @ DX Engineering I concur that with proper use and even with an occasional oops wrong antenna, an

Hello Jim Does that clamping diode across the coil affect the TX key up delay time? As in "slow it down"? 73 Tim K3LR Steve, you might be hearing the induced voltage kick caused by the inductance of

W8ZR Jim Can you give advice on this topic? 73 Tim K3LR What's the consensus on wiring .01uf disc caps across diodes in a HV supply ? W8JI sez they are required, and used in ameritron amps....and use

Thanks Jim My concern is with the diode(s) across the relay(s) coil (or Zener diode combo) does it affect the timing on the front end closure of the relays? As in TX delay settings? So when the relay

My question around the .01 uF caps on the HV rectifier diodes was not so much about diode preservation or protection - I am curious about any possible RFI generation from the HV diodes or more import

Most 8877 tubes that I test draw 11 amps of filament current at 5 volts. I have tested three recently that draw 15 amps of filament current. All of these tubes are used and have little "dings". Is 15

I am still testing 8877s here. Two or three every day. They warm up with filament only for 4 hours before HV. What I have learned is that 8877's drawing 15 amps of filament current are bad tubes. The
