Don't think so... The primary remains unchanged, as the for secondary with the '350FJ you need 26.5V @ 0.65A per tube while with the '350A you need 6.3V @ 2.8A - both about 17.5 watts (give or take).

I thought that the standard Bird 43 meter was 30uA at 1350 ohms, but anyway... surely the problem you have Conrad is easily fixed with a couple of external resistors... LZ2US's meter is too sensitive
