Doug, Write down what you do. I had to replace the HV meter resistors in my 6 meter Commander. They are under the RF deck along with the filter capacitors! Commander was never big on serviceability.

Tree, The choke that's used in the Ameritron is another excellent replacement. It was designed by W8JI. It has double the inductance on 160 so you don't need as much tuning cap to achieve resonance.
