- Yaesu did a PIN diode mod on FT-1000D starting with lot 28, they replaced 1SS83RE with 1SV257TB, it´s all in tecnical bulletin TB93201. Yours could be lot 28 or after. _________________________

- Wrong. According to Yaesu technical bulletin TB-93201 they started with lot 28 in FT-1000D, it is dated 8 Feb 1993 and that´s before the MP. If you don´t mind I think I beleive Yaesu! 73
