It is already the cleanest radio ever built. . ALC is never fast enough. An electret mic. makes cleaner audio. less ALC means less feculence. With 5kHz signal spacing, there is nothing better. happy

Load it heavy enough, and make sure the bias is set properly. Watch the audio gain. The ALC is too slow on attack. Over-tuning (load control open a bit further than normal) helps, as does keeping ju

Low serial number. The radio is loading fine in CW and making plenty of power and I think it's nutralized. I used a rcvr through a pad at the output with the SG shut off, to adjust it. I'd buy that,
