- Is there anyone here who rememders the johnson viking thunderbolt amps.??? As I recall, it had a pair of 4-400 tubes. Back in the 60's it was popular.l I always wondered what it would do in today's r

- Johnson made a Viking Thunderbolt 6N2 amplifier with a pair of 4CX250's. It had 2100VDC plate xformer and had regulated screens and bias. The power supply was good to run 1kw DC input. Great sounding
