I just assembled a new AL82. I've had many amps in the past, SB220, Alpha 76PA, Titan etc. I had no problems loading any of my antennas with these amps. Here's my problem and I hope it has a simple a

The AL82 is a stable and rugged amp not prone to problems. Are both tubes lit? What is the idle current? With the cover off and driving see that one tube isnt getting red while the other plate is dar

I think the other fellows gave good advice, but let me add... Remember: The loading control turns 360 degrees, so there is an "image" anywhere from zero to 360 degrees from any loading position. The
