The B&W 852 that I bought arrived today and is in good condition. I took some inductance measurements for each of the band positions and found that all of them are low as compared to what I thought t

Maybe someone moved the taps. One of Bill Orr's handbooks talks about moving the taps on the 851. Forget if also the 852. Whatever you end up for Pz, one of the taps may be OK, but they don't follow

I was confused, again. Should have said 850. The 851 is the little 500 watt unit. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _____

Id expect that B&W measured at the frequencies of interest. I base this upon several visits to the factory in the 80's and seeing the lab equipment used. Carl KM1H The B&W 852 that I bought arrived t

First, I have no idea what an AADE unit is. Second, I don't know what a B&W 852 is either, but since you're measuring inductance, I'm guessing its a switched tapped inductor. Third, all of your measu

Hello Bob: Just got back from the 4th weekend, and noticed your e-mail and the commentary on the B&W 852 tank coil. I just finished an amp using this tank coil in April of this year, so I hope I can
