What does "I then isolated the HV with a rubber eraser" supposed to mean?? If you are trying to say that you defeated the HV shorting bar with an eraser then by taking it out you now have a shorted H

I don't know about these particular ceramic caps, but I have had HV, high power RF ceramic caps go bad. What's worse, is that they were only bad under stress - RF in my experience. So that they could
