Does it happen on all bands and into a dummy load? If so I'd suspect a tube. If it happens on a band that fixed capacitors are switched in then I'd suspect them. There could also be something heating

Thanks for all the useful thoughts and ideas about my drifting grid current. It doesn't drift at the moment but that is because it will not switch on Whilst trying 15M at about 1200 watts it went pop
