Personally I'd say that 4kv is a little on the high side for a gs35 but I've seen plenty of circuits that use that kind of HT with that tube. Sufficient cooling is the key to success. Look through th

I don't have the proper equipment to know the db rating, but at 4220v (no load) I have just a touch more than the 3-500 based amp (say +3db over 3-500's (both driven to 1500) (sry, forget the voltage
