So how much room is between the top of the cabinet and the plate cap? What about a lower profile plate cap? Are you trying to use the same chimneys? I've heard of others running 3-500s in older henry

Interesting idea. I think I'm OK after checking. The W6SAI "West Coast Handbook" shows a gap of .375 inches (I have .39) will work at 3500 volts with RF on also, so should be good at 3KV. Thanks and
