Can an 80M 4 square be placed inside a 160M version without serious degradation? Both will use the pretty standard 1/4 wave spacing system of firing down the long base line. Havent been able to get a

In my modelling exercises with 4 squares I have found that almost anything near a 4 square will upset it and it doesn't have to be even near resonance. have a bad effect on f/b but not much on gain a

Thanks David. I currently have a a pair of wires hanging from the guy wires at the 160' level. They start about 20' out and slope to 12' where the elevated radials are attached. Even tho the tower is

Carl, ON4UN's book has plans for a nested set of 160, 80, 40 4 squares using a tower in the middle - I may be wrong, but I think K1KI built an implementation of it. Stock up on those poles! Remember
