REPLY: I agree. I love my 8877 homebrew after it's warmed up, but if I had to do it over again, I'd use a pair of 3-500's. And if the 8877 ever dies, a pair of them will replace it. 73, Bill W6WRT __

bob if this amp had never been used, why did you replace the bleeders but not the filter caps? I would have done the exact opposite. I don't even know who made the PT-2500A. that model number is comp
