has anybody actually tried replacing the dual-driven elements and 4:1 balun on a KLM big stick yagi with a single, direct fed, driven element? my EZNEC model makes me think it should work just as wel

I know I have heard about people doing just that but canīt remember more. Of course it should work, just model it and place DE at a spot that gives you parameters you like. __________________________
