Seems that upload bandwidth would be a major limiting factor. How many concurrent streams can you handle, albeit at a low bitrate? -- Craig - N7OR _______________________________________________ CQ-C
That sounds great, but he said Pacific NW. I hope you are right, but I seriously doubt we will see anything like that on 10 up here. NM sure, but not NW. I could be wrong, but I've been a small pisto
I have heard them on 3830 after the last couple of practices. It is hard to imagine such an active contest club. It really boggles the mind. Makes me wish I lived within their ridiculous East coast p
Not for SS, no. For NAQP and Sprint, yes. -- 73, Craig - N7OR in Sandy, OR _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.co

Actually, it looks like for the February CW sprint, there is no such rule. Unless it always follows SSB by one week, but it does not say that. Working on my personal calendar here, as well! -- 73, Cr
Not sure, but did it come from NW7US? At http://hfradio.org ? Maybe. Thatsounds right. -- 73, Craig Cook - N7OR in Sandy, OR _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ

That sure seems right. The same reason that you can work dupes in the RTTY sprint. RTTY contests are getting much more popular, however. Thanks in no small part to soundcards and the software that us
Here is something on the lighter side. Did anyone else catch the ham radio reference on The Simpson's episode this past Sunday? I laughed out loud. "You're all losers!" -- 73, Craig Cook - N7OR in Sa
I think I'd rather be "@" the couch. "@" the NFL playoffs. Do any of these hot-shots ever operate @home @a station that they had to build and pay for? Enjoy yourselves. -- 73, Craig Cook - N7OR in Sa
No point. I just read on this list often that hardware makes no difference, that winning is 100% operator only. That is why I have never finished in the top anything, too dumb. I would think that at
I appreciate your comments. They remind me of others that I have heard. I do believe that you can actually operate at a multi-op, otherwise there wouldn't be any on the air, and there are! :-) Some p
As someone who has never gone, is there a way to actually SEE the pictures? I always just see the one in the upper right corner, with no link to see any more. Thanks. ________________________________

Something funny is going on. I honestly used to think that I was slightly above average. In other words, if there were 1500 entrants in a CW SS, my cw skills would be among the top 750. I always thou
They just transmit. I guess it is possible for them to use some kind of a busy channel lockout, but then almost NO messages would get through. These things are the scourge of the digital bands, espec
Ok, that is pretty cool. I don't SSB, but I'll use N1MM if I fool around in CWSS at all. Thanks, I like it. N7OR _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@con
I am always changing things up here, trying to keep contesting interesting. One thing that is cool that you can do with N1MM is go minimalist. You can make it almost as simple as CT or TR by just kee
