So? Are you saying my example is assisted then? -- George Fremin III - K5TR geoiii@kkn.net http://www.kkn.net/~k5tr _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@
Yes, I think i worded it poorly. Given the described actions am I - Assisted - Unassisted I would love to hear from more folks - so far it seems that most are saying I would have to be an assisted en
We are working on the 160 records. They will be at the same level of detail as the 10 meter records. http://www.arrl.org/contests/results/10-meter-contest-records-wve.html http://www.arrl.org/contest
I can agree to all of this - in fact this is how I have been operating the contest for ... well either all as long as I have been doing it or at least as far back as I can recall. -- George Fremin II
There are more things that just focus and concentration - I think much of it is learned by operating many many contests until most of the operating actions and techniques become second nature. It has
Yes, that is what I was thinking of when I was writing earlier this morning. I have found that the more I have done this and the more I have done high QSO rate hours and two radios that it seems I ha
I think I understand what you are saying but I am not sure that it is really that big a deal. should be a fairly short time - unless you are N6TR/KL7. And in a contest where there is off time - like
That sounds good to me - of course it might be a good idea to go where the general class and Advanced class guys can be worked too but it would seem to me that some high percentage of HF ops that are

I try to record every contest I operate. It would be very easy for me to offer up the recordings of the stations that ask to be spotted. In the ARRL DX CW contest I was calling CQ down low on 15 mete
I suspect it could be several things. On is a decline of Japanese amateur stations. On this web page you will find a lot of information about Japanese callsigns. One of the charts down the page show
I agree - I have no problem with anyone looking at my logs. And I have many of them here: http://www.kkn.net/~k5tr/blanco/logs/ My long term plan is to have my contest logs, my contest audio recordin
Yes, it is good to see some sunlight being shined on the cheating but it is sad for me to see that the cheating only seems to be getting worse in the IARU contest. I really like the IARU contest. Yep
And right now - all of those broken USA calls do not affect your score but if you get one point for each one they will lower your score. I do not think I would like to see this change to the CQ WW po
You have to remember where the forum is on the Internet. BTW for a quick link to the lists that run on contesting.com go here: http://www.contesting.com/ And then follow the link in the left menu ar
I would agree with you for every contest except the sprint. Since any CQ you answer on the CQ radio will be gone after one QSO it sort of makes both radios just like your CQ radio in another contest.
I am not really worried about the CW SS. I want to know about the CQ WW SSB Contest. As I understand things it will be ending an hour later this year than it did last year. -- George Fremin III - K5T
