There was an error in the database file creation. Updated files are now on the web site. The new set of files is based on 2,465,600 QSOs from 1514 logs logs (data set contained 115,982 unique calls).
It would be great if the stations that can transmit above 7100 start doing so. That would ease the crowding down below and make them easier to find/copy. If I was M7Z (or any other G or Carribbean),

Looking for your Cabrillo format logs from SS CW this past weekend for use in building the Super Check Partial database. I make a special version of the master.dta file that only has calls from SS CW

W1VE actually built something that did this for WriteLog. WL users could add a plug-in and their scores would show up on a web page in real-time. Never got critical mass, but a way cool idea anyway.
As always, please send me your Cabrillo format logs from any of the major Fall contests for inclusion in the Super Check Partial database. Many guys have been doing a carbon copy of the contest submi

I recall working K5TR, N9RV and WP3R within a few minutes of each other around 10 hours into the contest. They were all within 20 QSOs of each other (N9RV was in the lead!). Amazing that WP3R was abl
Why the emphasis on SO2R in this conversation? It is really packet, and its use by SOA+MS+MM stations that is making frequencies more difficult to find. The packet assisted entries can rely on other

Very cool web site. It was inspiring to read the members list on the WWYC site and see so many calls that I have worked in lots of contests! These guys are putting up some good scores and represent t

I have found that my Cushcraft 40-2CD works on both 6 and 2 meters! It may help that it is the highest antenna on the mast. But I do notice definite peaks and nulls on 2m as it turns, so no telling h
It gives you the flexibility to use any station on any band. By having all the computers networked, they all have the current log of stations worked and won't have to waste time chasing dupes. For op
I suspect if NV4X was SO1R he would have *only* had about 2800 x 950 for 7.0M... More variables here than you can see in the score listings. Randy, K5ZD
Send anything you want! Just make sure you send the same thing to everyone you work and that you get it right in your log submission to ARRL (you would be surprised how often this doesn't happen). Th
And this has what to do with contesting? Seems there are better sources of networking tech support on the Internet. Although it could be a welcome change from SO2R and SS checks! :) K5ZD
