I do attend the monthly local club meetings AND I even host the annual ARRL FD exercise at my air conditioned QTH for the local (Non contest club) I still end up with empty seats during mm contest !!
wow ! I am amazed at most of this, not surprised (I am not that naive), disappointed mainly it used to be all Hams were trusted to a high degree A hand shake or word of declaration on a contest entry
