This is a topic of interest here as well... One needs to be pretty agile to swap contests, even more so if the exchanges vary. This is the one major challenge for the MARAC/7QP/NEQP/InQP/ARI weekend.
Now if we could have standard County abbreviations so we can play in MARAC this weekend as well, with little difficulty... Julius Fazekas N2WN Tennessee Contest Group http://www.k4ro.net/tcg/index.ht
I have a copy of this, and it makes a lot of sense. Of course, if it isn't adopted, it's still an orphan. Shame as it took a lot of work to put it together... Julius Fazekas N2WN Tennessee Contest Gr
Jim, To me the answer is: it depends. Serial numbers are fine, but challenging if you play in multiple contests both with and without them. Tougher yet, if you mix DX and Domestic contests in the bre
Well, that seems to be a general problem these days, not just contesting related. Emotions sometimes run rampant when simple logical discussion would be more effective and leave everyone in a win-win
Sounds like the next few weekends QSO parties will need to shift up or down on 40. Hopefully, they will not experience any repeat quakes. Emergency Frequencies Declared for Italian Earthquake (Apr 6,
It is my sad duty to pass along the following information on the passing of Don, N4TN. He was an avid CW fan and member of the Tennessee Contest Group. He will be missed: Donald Wayne Jones Born in K

And there's a LOT of competition for that Cal. Sometimes I wonder how anyone sorts through all the attention getters we're bombarded with every day... C'ya in da 'tests! 73, Julius Julius Fazekas N2W
Bob, This is also a problem using eQSL. It's interesting that LoTW has the option of posting by county, yet the ARRL doesn't have a county based award. Yet, eQSL doesn't have the option and CQ accept
This should be very interesting competition to follow! Advantage to those with DXpedition type experience. Nice website too. 73, Julius Fazekas N2WN Tennessee Contest Group http://www.k4ro.net/tcg/in
I'm curious, what the standard, if any, or preferred method of uploading logs to LoTW is for mobile operations? When I've done these in the past, I did NOT include /m or /county, just N2WN by county.

Many thanks to Vern Brownell, W1VB for sponsoring the SO USA QRP plaque and the folks who put on the QSO Party for the nice plaque waiting for me last night... and the Maple Syrup too! 72, Julius Faz
Mike, eQSL has the same issues with the backslash. It's easier to fix that on the fly there and/or contact the station in question to resolve an easy to fix issue. I'm now wondering if I should even
