Good to know. Every time I've tried it during a contest it was pretty slow. I just assumed it was load. Cheers Ryan, N2RJ -- Ryan A. Jairam, _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest
I can guess a number of scenarios that would prompt this type of complaint, and they usually boil down to either SSTVers or nets and individuals who feel that they own a frequency (or frequencies). I
I need to buy a foot switch. One handed logging isn't cutting it anymore and is cutting into my rate. Most ham radio stores have the choice of the Heil or the MFJ foot pedals. Is that really the only
Wow, thanks for all the replies guys. Plenty of info to digest. I really appreciate it! I was looking at musicians' foot pedals which might seem to fit the bill. I work near to Sam Ash music in NYC s
Doing a M/M contest is a large undertaking, I think, from station prep to self preparation, as a result I don't think some of them will have the energy to put a full effort into every contest. JMHO.
My XYL (KC2OYY) scored a clean sweep in the November phone sweepstakes contest. Since this was her first she wanted the clean sweep mug so we ordered one. Lo and behold this week we found on our porc

I see no harm in allowing CWGet or similar and quite honestly I don't see the point of banning it other than to force people to learn to copy CW to take part in your contest. And, IMO if you disallow
