John, If you can get an FT-847 for under $900 - I believe it is the best radio for the money for Repeaters, DXing, Weak Signal, Satellite, and Moon Bounce - all in ONE radio. Randy N0LD _____________

I have gotten several comments regarding the 847s poor HF receive. I probably should reiterate that it wasn't just the HF capability that I answered (I noted the other things the radio is good for) -
