Agree, now that the power limit is output, not input to the plate, a CLEAN amplifier is an amplifier unless you are running a W7RM op with seperate amps for each band in another room to cut down on

An interesting approach would be to look at the number of individual stations that the "big boys" worked or data from the dup lists to see how many got on for a few contacts and didn't really contest
