Folks, We have established direct communication with RAC and ARRL and as a representative of MCC we ask that it would seem appropriate at this time to end this discussion for the time being. It may n

My check is 78...it's certainly not the easiest to send or receive, but I stick to it even though sending 75, 77, 79 or 80 might be easier. I keep it the same # for 3 reasons. It *IS* my actual check

Hi Stan, Hey-thanks for setting me straight on that. Guess I won't be doing too many single band contests then, hi ! I think 10m is on its way out anyhow. Thanks for the quick and informative reply.

Qualifying should be based on the same philosophy. An excellent operator using a typical home station will never outperform someone in the same region driving a contest superstation. Perhaps there sh

What is it with Europeans and cut numbers? During a semi-fast run I had going, there was a EU guy (I forget his call, but suffice to say central EU.) who was sending me something like AGEU or somethi

If you had to choose between a 600' hilltop or an oceanfront QTH in VE9, VE1 which would it be?--6m thru 160m. Sure, 600' doesn't sound like a lot, but most of the land around these parts is from 30'

How can I tell if I have too much energy at the input of "radio 2" when transmitting on "radio 1" ? I've done a few DXpeditions and field days (CY0AA, CY9AA etc.) and we had some cheapie bandpass fil

Hank, et al My comments about "MAR" not being VE1, VE9, VY2, VO1 & VO2 were only wrt The New and Improved SSB Sprints, not towards the ARRL/RAC Sweepstakes. Let's be clear. I am not petitioning ARRL
