Hi Bob, The Ten Tec Orion, Icom 7800 and Yaesu FTDX9000 series also have true dual receive. The FT1000 model did if you added the BPF-1 unit, which was standard in the FT1000D 73s John W5TD (ex NE0P)

Also remember that the QST numbers for both the FT1000MP and FT1000MP MKV were at a 20khz spacing, which is really pretty useless for evaluating receiver performance, especially for a contest environ
