I see some pretty rave reviews on the Kenwood TS 870's. I was on QTH.com classifieds and some guy has 2 brand new ones, still in the box for sale there. Listing number 459326. 73 Tom W7WHY __________
Hi Bill Remember Howie, W2QHH. He was another great one. Worked 'em all and the highest power he ever ran was a Viking Ranger at 75 watts to a long wire antenna. 73 Tiom W7WHY _______________________

Lotsa luck Zack. K1DG tallys the scores and he NEVER loses. I'm beginning to thing maybe something is fishy there. 73 Tom W7WHY _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list
This is the truth Bill. I have one friend here who I coaxed into taking the 5 WPM code test and get his general. He was really excited when he started talking on HF and last week he passed his Extra.
I've only done 1 MM here at my station (won the 7th call area that year). We did the CQWW WPX test here with NO7F, KG7DK and myself. NO7F was the night time op and he stayed on most of the night. We

I see that amp is vapor cooled. Seems like I remember there were a lot of vapors floating around in the air back in the '60's in some of our MM's. We didn't do too good, but WHO CARED? 73 Tom W7WHY _

Heck yeah, I agree. Come to Oregon, that's a real hot spot to work the contests from! 73 Tom W7WHY _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com ht
Yeah, that does get agrivating. I was on and this 7O station kept calling me with /QRP on the end of his call and I told him to take a hike. Tom W7WHY There was also an LU I think it was signing /qrp
When using N1MM Logger, the default is HP on the setup. I keep forgetting to change it when starting a new contest. Maybe the HP guys are using N1MM and didn't change the default. 73 Tom W7WHY' _____
Yep, not only this, but the new contest page is neat. All the contests back to '99 with scores, soapbox, etc. Cool page. Tom W7WHY _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing l

I see we can do CW or RTTY as there are no frequencies listed in the CW or RTTY band. Guess emergency traffic can't be sent on those modes. 73 Tom W7WHY Bill Turner wrote:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
